Dr Sujith Chadala

Dr Sujith Chadala is a consultant physician in the Department of Internal Medicine at Continental Hospitals, Gachibowli. He completed both his MBBS (2011) and his MD in General Medicine (2017) at Osmania Medical College and Osmania General Hospital, Hyderabad, under Dr NTR University of Health Sciences.

After his MD he trained further in critical care at Apollo Health City, Jubilee Hills, working in the ICU and tele-ICU teams, and completed the Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM) awarded by the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine. He has also completed the Post Graduate Program in Cardiology (Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine & MESF), the Certificate Course in Evidence Based Diabetes Management (PHFI & Dr Mohan's Diabetes Education Academy), a Fellowship in Diabetes Mellitus, and the Certificate Course in Geriatric Medicine & Gerontology.

Before joining Continental Hospitals in July 2024, he worked as a consultant physician at Ankura Hospitals, Hyderabad and at Park Endocrinology Center, Jubilee Hills, and taught general medicine as a senior resident and assistant professor. He was recognised by the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine as a Frontline COVID Warrior in 2022 for his work during the pandemic.

His day-to-day practice is outpatient and in-hospital adult medicine: finding the cause of a new symptom, bringing sugar and blood pressure under steady control, treating infections, and looking after older adults who live with several conditions and many medicines. He explains findings in plain language — in English, Hindi or Telugu — and writes down a clear plan so patients and families know what to do next.
